Marling E. Potter

Marling E. Potter

President, Funeral Director / Embalmer

Marling E. Potter was born and reared in West Liberty, KY. He is married to Sue Evans Potter, and they have two children, Kerrick Potter and Leah Potter Bush. He is the son of the late H.D. and Lillian Yates Potter. He is a member of the Kiwanis Club, Highland Masonic Lodge # 311, and a member of the West Liberty First Baptist Church. Marling served as the Coroner of Morgan County for a total of 29 years , until his retirement from the Morgan County Coroners office December 31, 2006. Marling is a graduate of Morgan County High School, attended two years at Morehead State University and a graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He currently is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the state of Kentucky. Marling has been employed at Potter Funeral Home, Inc. since 1963, and became President of the funeral home in 1994.

Sue Evans Potter

Sue Evans Potter

Secretary

Sue Evans Potter is a life long resident of West Liberty, KY. She is married to Marling E. Potter and they have two children, Kerrick Potter and Leah Potter Bush. She is the daughter of the late Dexter and Letha Holbrook Evans of Woodsbend. She is a member of the West Liberty First Baptist Church. Sue is a graduate of Morgan County High School and Kaufman Beauty School where she became a beautician. She has been employed by Potter Funeral Home, Inc. as secretary since 1972.

Joyce Potter Bach

Joyce Potter Bach

Receptionist / Treasurer

Joyce Potter Bach has been a resident of West Liberty, KY since 1941. She is the widow of Arthur Dean Bach, who was a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer at the Potter Funeral Home for over 50 years. They have two children, Devra Bach Steele and Kevin Bach. She is the daughter of the late H.D. and Lillian Yates Potter. Joyce is a graduate of Morgan County High School and she has been employed by Potter Funeral Home, Inc. since 1957 as secretary then later as a receptionist and treasurer.

Leah Potter Bush LeMaster

Leah Potter Bush LeMaster

Funeral Director

Leah Potter Bush LeMaster is a life long resident of West Liberty,KY. She is the widow of Greg Bush and now married to William Dan LeMaster and they have one son, Cameron Andrew Bush.   She is the daughter of Marling and Sue Evans Potter.  She is a member of the West Liberty Baptist Church, where she serves as the Church Organist and Assistant Pianist.  Leah is a graduate of Morgan County High School and Lees College.   She holds an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing and is a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Kentucky.   She also has worked at the Potter Funeral Home, Inc. since 2003 and is a licensed Funeral Director in the State of Kentucky.

Rick Music

Rick Music

Funeral Director & Embalmer

Rick D. Music was born in Martin, KY.  He has two children, Jeremy Dean Music & Crystal D. Music Hammond.  Rick served as a Deputy Coroner of Greenup County, KY for 6 years, a KY Colonel, and  attends West Liberty First Baptist Church,  He is a graduate from J.H. Allen Central in Eastern KY and a graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, IN.  He is currently a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the state of KY.
