Wonnie Stacy Obituary
Wonnie Marie Stacy of Campton, KY, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Hazard ARH, Hazard, KY, at the age of 69 years, 4 months, and 5 days. She was born Saturday, June 17, 1950 at West Liberty, KY, daughter of the late James Russell & Lula Frances Goodpaster Stacy.
She was a Christian being saved and baptized in 1963 at Daysboro Church of Christ and was a member of the Grassy Lick Baptist Church. She was a loving sister and aunt, and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Thomas Helton & Guy Helton; one brother, Vernon Stacy; three sisters-in-law, Marie Stacy, Janice Stacy, and Lois Stacy; and one nephew, Brian Stacy.
She is survived by four brothers, James Stacy and Robert Stacy both of Grassy Creek, KY, Billy & Glenna Stacy of Mentor, OH, and Wayne & Dolores Stacy of Madisonville, TN; one sister, Emma & Willie Watson of Waterloo, IN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 1 p.m., Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Grassy Lick Baptist Church, with Bro. Kenneth Gevedon & Bro. Jim Tyra officiating. Burial to follow in the Oliver Haney Cemetery, Stacy Fork, KY. Visitation 6 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Potter Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Jeff Stacy, Richard Stacy, Ricky Stacy, Jack Hammons, Danny Peyton, James Keeton, and Channing Kinner.
