Obituary
Verlen D. Easterling of West Liberty, KY, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at his residence, at the age of 60 years, 6 months and 2 days. He was born on Saturday, September 29, 1962 at West Liberty, KY, son of Polly Ann Ritchie Easterling and the late Billy Hobart Easterling.
Verlen was a former truck driver and logger. He was a loving father, son, grandfather, and brother, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his father, Billy Hobart Easterling, he was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Easterling; and his grandparents, Irvin & Leola Cassity Easterling.
Survivors include two children, Joshua Easterling (Kristi) of Sterling Heights, MI and Rachel Easterling of Macomb County, MI; six grandchildren; his mother, Polly Ann Easterling of West Liberty, KY; three sisters, Danita Gwen Sanchez (John) of West Liberty, KY, Deborah Lynn Webb (Steve) of Turkey Creek, KY, and Sheri Ann Clark (Matt) of Ezel, KY; and five nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be planned at a later date. Potter Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
