Tommy V. Lykins

Tommy V. Lykins of West Liberty, KY, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Morgan Co. ARH, at the age of 59 years, 5 months, & 8 days.  He was born Friday, November 5, 1965, in Lexington, KY, son of Victor & Maureen Dalton Lykins.

Tommy was united in marriage to Tamatha Havens on August 29, 2012.  He was a 1983 graduate of Morgan County High School and was a Laborer for the Morgan County Road Department.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, step father, grandfather, brother, son-in-law, & uncle, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor & Maureen Dalton Lykins and two brothers, Billy Dalton & Kenny Lykins.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Tamatha “Tammy” Havens; step son, Ian Gunkler (Andrea) of Berea, KY; step daughter, Garnet Owens (Derek Phillips) of Owenton, KY; five grandchildren, Desmond Phillips, Lestat Phillips, Zoe Gunkler, Malcolm Gunkler, & Foster Gunkler; one brother, Mike Dalton (Kay); one sister, Robin Dalton; his mother-in-law, Linda Goodpaster Ueltschi; and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral service, 1 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2025 at Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Clark & Bro. Mark Risner officiating.  Burial to follow in the Old Grassy Cemetery, Mize, KY.  Visitation 6 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Potter Funeral Home.
