Timothy James "T.J." Cantrell

Timothy James “T.J.” Cantrell of Isonville, KY, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at Isonville, KY, at the age of 43 years, 2 months, and 25 days. He was born Monday, April 17, 1978, at Prestonsburg, KY, son of Diane Tompkins Fugate & James Randell Cantrell.

T.J. was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, and will be missed by all of his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gordon & Dottie Tompkins; his paternal grandparents, Roy & Edna Cantrell; and two special step-fathers, Mike “Roach” Skaggs & Kenneth Fugate.

He is survived by his mother, Diane Tompkins Fugate of Isonville, KY; his father, James Randell Cantrell of West Liberty, KY; one sister, Shannon & Steve Dyke of Sandy Hook, KY; special nephews, Kyle Brickey of Sandy Hook, KY; one half-sister, Cristy Cantrell & her son, Rylee of West Liberty, KY; one step-sister, Samantha Cantrell of West Liberty, KY; one step brother, Jerry Fugate of Jackson, KY; his childhood friend, Kenny Sparks; and his special friends, Homer Wagoner, Donald Wagoner, and Frank Wagoner.

Funeral service 1 p.m., Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Paul Keeton officiating. Burial in the Keeton Cemetery, Crockett, KY. Visitation 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Steve Dyke, Kenny Sparks, Donald Wagoner, Scotty Cantrell, Doug Keeton, Jamie Daniel, Bobby Gilliam, and Danny Sparks.
