Tilden B. Elkins

Tilden B. Elkins of Ezel, KY, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at his residence, at the age of 82 years, 4 months, and 18 days. He was born Monday, August 29, 1938 at Pikeville, KY, son of the late Henry & Florence Anderson Elkins.

Tilden was united in marriage to Glenna Miller on July 22, 1962. This union was blessed with 7 beautiful children. He was a retired Truck Driver and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather. He will be missed by all of his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Henry & Florence Elkins, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Lanpher; one brother, Andrew Elkins; and one sister, Betty Butters.

Tilden is survived by his loving wife, Glenna Miller Elkins; six children, Velvet & Brian Lapland of Tekonsha, MI, Rita & Lester Wheeler of Jeffersonville, KY, Sara Elkins & Randy Kable of Concord, MI, Tina Elkins of Jackson, MI, Tilden Elkins, Jr. of Ezel, KY, and Lori Elkins & Terry Decker of Jackson, MI; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Raymond VanCleave officiating. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday, Jan 18, 2021 at the funeral home.
