Teresa Mae Cox

Teresa Mae Cox of Paintsville, KY, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024, at Paintsville ARH, at the age of 65 years, 1 month, & 10 days.  She was born Tuesday, April 21, 1959 daughter of Norman Ray Cox & Barbara Bush LeMaster.

She was a homemaker, a Christian, and of the Pentecostal faith.  She will be remembered as a loving sister, niece and aunt and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Ray Cox & Barbara Bush LeMaster; her grandparents, Curt & Iva Hampton Bush; brother, Jesse Butler Whitson; and niece, Kala Nicole Robinson.

She is survived by her half-sister, Joanna Cox of Ohio; half-brother, David Cox of Ohio; aunt, Leona Puckett of West Liberty, KY; uncle, Phillip Bush of Campton, KY; nephews & nieces, Bracken Lee Whitson (Katelyn) of Minnesota, Dakota Cox of Ohio, Danielle Stacy of Ohio, Lisa Dobbins of Salyersville, KY, and Zoey and Emily Fletcher of Salyersville, KY; and great nephews, Dylan Robinson (Allison) of Campton, KY, Hunter Robinson of Cannel City, KY, and Xavier and Alex Fletcher of Salyersville, KY.

Funeral service 12 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Sister Arpie Hampton officiating.  Burial to follow in the Bush Cemetery, Caney, KY.  Visitation 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers:  Dylan Robinson, Hunter Robinson, Bracken Whitson, Mike Elmore, and Billy Taylor.
