Susan Hamiti Benton

Susan Hamiti Benton of West Liberty, KY, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Salyersville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Salyersville, KY, at the age of 58 years, 9 months, and 29 days. She was born Monday, January 27, 1962 in Middlesex, England, daughter of Janet Hamiti and the late Azzie Hamiti.

She was united in marriage to James Lowell Benton. She was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and home. She will be missed by all of her family and friends.

In addition to her father, Azzie Hamiti, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Lowell Benton.

She is survived by three daughters, Marlene Vainisi of New Port Richie, FL, Jennifer Hamiti of Rockford, IL, and Karen Smothers of Chicago, IL; her mother, Janet Hamiti; one sister, Joy Kritikos (Alan) of Hammond, IN; and two brothers, Paul Hamiti of Plainfield, IL and Peter Hamiti of Chicago, IL.
