Steven Wayne Potter

Steven Wayne Potter of West Liberty, KY, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 at his residence, at the age of 55 years and 2 days. He was born Thursday, January 7, 1965 at Middletown, OH, son of Phyllis Sue Prater Potter and the late James Gary Potter.

Steve was a former carpenter. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and nephew, and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

In addition to his father, James Gary Potter, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Lynn Potter.

He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Sue Potter; one brother & sister-in-law, Ralph & Janice Potter of Georgetown, KY; one sister-in-law, Sandra Potter of Morehead, KY; two nieces and one nephew, Lacey Diane & Matthew Mulcahey, Ashley Renee & Jared Wolfe, and Kyle William & Amanda Potter; a host of great nieces and nephews; a special aunt, Florence Prater of West Liberty, KY; and three uncles, Hershell & Christy Potter of Burlington, KY, Lannie & Sheila Prater of Fisherville, KY, and Donald & Carolyn Prater of Hazel Green, KY.

Funeral service 11 a.m., Monday, January 13, 2020 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Danny Collins officiating. Burial to follow in the Gary L. Potter Cemetery, Spaws Creek Road, West Liberty, KY. Visitation 6 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the Potter Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Ralph Potter, Mike Rose, Wendell Romans, Joe Hunt, Jared Wolfe, and Kyle William Potter.
