Stepheny Elaine (Brewer) Cox

Stepheny Elaine Brewer Cox of Wellington, KY, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at her residence, at the age of 49 years, 1 month, and 26 days. She was born Sunday, August 6, 1972, at Mt. Sterling, KY, daughter of Gary Lee Brewer and the late Dana Montgomery Brewer.

She was united in marriage to Billy Cox in 1994. She was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and her home. She will be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be missed by all of her family and friends.

Stepheny was preceded in death by her mother, Dana Montgomery Brewer.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Cox; her father, Gary Lee Brewer & Jennifer, Cedar Grove, WV; one sister, Stacy Lee Clemons & Lonnie of Wellington, KY; one brother, Gary Lee Brewer; two nieces, Whitney Young & David of Estill County, KY and Emily Maxine Ferrell & Tyler of Jeffersonville, KY; aunt, Gail Stamper; special uncle, Ova Brewer; and her cousins, Robert Stamper, Missy Cline, Cory Brewer.

Funeral Service, 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Jimmy Dalton officiating. Visitation from 1 – 3 p.m., Tuesday. Her remains will be buried on the Halsey Family Farm in Wellington, KY.
