Sarah Lovel (Whitt) Woolums

Sarah Lovel Woolums of Frankfort, KY, passed away June 2, 2023, at her residence, at the age of 75 years, 7 months, and 29 days. She was born on Saturday, October 4, 1947 at Redwine, KY, daughter of the late Carl & Fannie Adkins Whitt.

She was a homemaker and will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, and aunt.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Fannie Whitt, parents who raised her, Bernie “Bun” & Viola Frisby Whitt; two brothers & one sister, Lockwood Whitt, Bernie Wayne Whitt, and Joyce Eldridge. 

Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Ann & Lori Lynn; sisters & brothers, Darlene Winstead (James), Connie Patton (Bob), Bonnie Yeary, Totsy Evans, Roxie Johnston (Ronnie), Sharon Holbrook, Beverly Little (Larry), Deborah Gray (Gary), Shamel Whitt (Betsy), Dottie Johnston (John), David Whitt, & Jennifer Young; and several nieces, nephews, & cousins.

Graveside service 3 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the A.L. Whitt Cemetery, Redwine, KY, with Rev. Garry Ferguson officiating.  Potter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
