Ronnie Lee Beamon

Ronnie Lee Beamon of Morehead, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Ezel, KY after an extended illness, at the age of 57 years, 1month, & 10 days.  He was born Tuesday, August 20, 1968, at Cincinnati, OH, son of Orvil Lee & Myrtle Katheryn Burton Beamon.

Ronnie was united in marriage to Thelma “Susie” Manning.  This union was blessed with two children, Rochell & Ronnie, Jr.  He was a retired laborer and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.  He was a born again Christian and attended East End Church of God at Morehead, KY.           

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Orvil Beamon; one brother, Tony Beamon; his paternal grandparents, James & Avelean Beamon; and his maternal grandparents, Elmer & Betty Burton.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susie Beamon; one daughter, Rochell Taylor (Edward); one son, Ronnie Beamon, Jr. (Ashley); two granddaughters, Faith & Hope “Button”; his mother, Myrtle Beamon; one brother, Jerry Beamon (Diana); five aunts and four uncles.  Also surviving are his sisters-in-law, Barbara Vance, Betty Center (Wendell), Fern Price, Clara Vance, Mary Cantrell (James), Devona Kelsey (Carl), and Shelly Hunter; brothers-in-law, Herbert Manning, Jr., Willie Manning (Brenda), and James Manning (Tina); his bonus children, Amy May & Ronnie Barker, Jr.; his bonus grandchildren, Bailey Howard, Sophie Smith, and Elijah May; his fur baby, Samson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Ronnie will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service 2 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2025 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Hamm & Rev. Ben Furman officiating.  Burial to follow in the Forrest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Morehead, KY.  Visitation from 12 noon – 2 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2025 at the funeral home.
