Ronald Wade O'Connor

Ronald Wade O’Connor of Upper Pleasant Run, West Liberty, KY, passed away Friday, April 24, 2026, at UK St. Claire, Morehead, KY, at the age of 67 years, 8 months, and 25 days.  He was born Wednesday, July 30, 1958, at Morgan County, KY, son of Daniel Howard O’Connor & Bessie Quicksall O’Connor.

Ronald held many jobs during his lifetime as a maintenance man, in the construction trades, and as a general handyman. He was a Christian and of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Howard O’Connor and Bessie Quicksall Perkins and one sister, Julie Reeves.

Ronald is survived by his three children, Carrie Lee O’Connor (Lisa) of Richmond, KY, Wade O’Connor (Megan) of West Liberty, KY, and Michael O’Connor also of West Liberty, KY; two granddaughters, Meredith O’Connor and Brenna O’Connor; three siblings, Steve O’Connor (Dolores) of Morgan County, KY, Donna O'Connor of Morehead, KY and Daniel O'Connor also of Morehead, KY; and a nephew, Eamon O’Connor of Lexington, KY.

Ronald will be remembered for his willingness to help other and his many friends.

Funeral service 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at the Potter Funeral Home with Bro. Hunter Fraley and Bro. Larry Lewis officiating.  Burial to follow in the Howard Cemetery, Pleasant Run Road, West Liberty, KY.  Visitation at 6 - 9 p.m., Monday, April 27, 2026 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Morgan County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 309, West Liberty, KY 41472.
