Ronald Dean Gullett

Ronald Dean “Ron” Gullett of Lexington, KY, departed to his Heavenly home on Sunday, January 28, 2024, in Lexington, KY, at the age of 75 years, 6 months, & 1 day.  He was born Tuesday, July 27, 1948 in Dayton, OH, son of D.B. & Sara Hitchcock Gullett.

Ron was retired from sales and enjoyed hosting family and friends in his home as he always made everyone feel special.  After retiring he worked with Southern Concierge where he would make a positive experience in assisting the elderly when they would downsize and relocate from their homes.  He was a Christian and a life-long member of the West Liberty First Baptist Church. 

Ron will be remembered as a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  

He was preceded in death by his father, D.B. Gullett.

Ron is survived by his mother, Sara Gullett of West Liberty, KY; two daughters, Alison Gullett of Lexington, KY and Sara Sterling (Drew) of Frankfort, KY; three grandchildren, Austin Sterling, Logan Sterling, and Elizabeth Sterling; one sister, Carolyn Gullett of West Liberty, KY; two nieces, Jenny Evans (Brian) of West Liberty, KY and Carrie Canady (Brent) of Lexington, KY; one great nephew & two great nieces, Blake Evans, Jenna Evans, and Reese Canady; the mother of his two daughters, Deborah Gullett; and several friends and neighbors.

Funeral service 12 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Brian Evans officiating.  Burial will follow in the Salyer Cemetery, West Liberty, KY.  Visitation from 11 a.m. – 12 noon, Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the funeral home.

Memorial Donations are suggested to the West Liberty First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 321, West Liberty, KY  41472.
