Robert Wayne Patterson

Robert Wayne Patterson of West Liberty, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, KY, at the age of 54 years, 5 months, and 2 days. He was born Thursday, May 25, 1967, at Dayton, OH, son of the late Robert Gale & Shirley Ross Patterson.

He was employed at the West Liberty Save-A-Lot Grocery Store for over 25 years. He was a Christian being saved and baptized several years ago. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and nephew. He will be missed by all of his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert G. & Shirley Ross Patterson.

He is survived by his two children, Kayla Whitten (Levi) of Sebring, FL and Tiffany Patterson (Brittany) of Okeechobee, FL; two grandchildren, Dominick Whitten and Leyla Whitten; two sisters, Terry McIntosh of Middletown, OH and Beverly Mays (John) of Ezel, KY; one brother, Arthur Patterson (Toni) of West Liberty, KY; special aunt, Brenda Fannin of West Liberty, KY; the mother of his children, Lareta Comer of Okeechobee, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Rev. Raymond Vancleave & Thomas Mays officiating. Burial to follow in the J.W. Perry Cemetery, West Liberty, KY. Visitation from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday at the Potter Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Ryan Patterson, Braxton Patterson, Troy Patterson, Dalton Mays, Thomas Mays, Joe Bolin and Kevin Minix.
