Ricky D. Davis

Ricky D. Davis of Morehead, KY, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center, Morehead, KY, at the age of 61 years, 6 months, and 10 days. He was born Wednesday, July 1, 1959 at Xenia, OH, son of the late Gordon & Emma Jean Howard Davis.

Ricky was a carpenter by trade. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother and will be missed by all of his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Gordon and Emma Jean Davis, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Davis.

Ricky is survived by four children, Ricky Davis & Angela of Cannel City, KY, Jamie Davis & Greg of West Liberty, KY, Jennifer Sue Davis of Jackson, KY, and David Andrew Davis & Chasity of West Liberty, KY; eleven grandchildren, Brooklin Davis, Maddison Davis, Katlin Ross, Candice Ross, Nathan Markwell, Tyler Damron, Jena Damron, Johnna Damron, Jayla Davis, Destany Davis, and Braxton Davis; two great grandchildren, Trinity Rose and Nevaeh Damron; and nine brothers & sisters, Linda Adkins & Vondal of West Liberty, KY, Ray Davis & Patricia of Cannel City, KY, Rita Lafferty of Springfield, OH, Paul Davis & Denise of West Liberty, KY, Alice Childers & Roger of Louisa, KY, Pam Lunsford & Mike of Catlettsburg, KY, Robin Williams of Clearfield, KY, Tim Davis & Tamara of West Liberty, KY, and Nancy Wright & Jimmy of West Liberty, KY.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Garry Ferguson officiating. Burial to follow in the Caskey Cemetery, Dyer Branch, West Liberty, KY. Visitation 6:00 p.m., Friday, Jan 15, 2021 at the funeral home.
