Rena Olean (Keeton) Smith Hill

Rena Olean Keeton Smith Hill of West Liberty, KY, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center, at the age of 88 years, 4 months, and 30 days. She was born Monday, September 26, 1932 at Mima, KY, daughter of the late William Anthony & Eliza Cantrell Keeton.

Rena was united in marriage to Winston Smith. After his passing, she met and later married Crumwell Hill. She was homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and her home. Rena was a Christian and a long time member of the Smith Creek Baptist Church.  She will be remembered as a loving aunt, great aunt, and great-great aunt; she will be missed by all of her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Winston Smith and Crumwell Hill; one brother, Carl Chester Keeton; and one sister-in-law, Gladys Gambill Keeton.

Rena is survived by five nephews, Dillard & Mary Keeton, William & Emma Keeton, Willis & Juanita Keeton, Denzil Keeton, and Vinson & Angie Keeton all of West Liberty, KY; five great nieces & one great nephew, Jennifer Gilliam, Lora Fulton, Hannah Keeton, Deanna Liston, Selena Liston, and Timothy Keeton; a host of great-great nieces and nephews; a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews by her two marriages; and a special friend and caretaker, Tim Blevins of West Liberty, KY.

Graveside service 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Elijah Smith Cemetery, Hwy 437, West Liberty, KY with Bro. Bobby Smith & Bro. Ricky Holbrook officiating. Potter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers: Dillard Keeton, William Keeton, Willis Keeton, Denzil Keeton, Vinson Keeton, Abe Fulton, John William Fulton, and Timothy Keeton.
