Patricia "Pat" (Hamilton) Ferguson

Patricia “Pat” Hamilton Ferguson of West Liberty, KY, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, KY, at the age of 76 years, 8 months, & 12 days.  She was born Friday, December 12, 1947 at West Liberty, KY, daughter of Paul Revere & Lorene Day Hamilton.

She was united in marriage to Jearld Ferguson.  This union was blessed with two children, Jerry & Joni.  She was a former Correctional Officer.  Pat was well known for her great cooking and baking and she loved to hunt.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Revere Hamilton & Lorene Day Hamilton Fyffe and her step father, James Harry Fyffe.

She is survived by her husband, Jearld Ferguson; one son, Jerry Ferguson of Mount Sterling, KY; one daughter, Joni Ferguson of Lexington, KY; one granddaughter, Natasha Donahue (Mark); five great grandchildren, Cayden, Katie, Annie, Payton, & Courtney; one brother, Rick Hamilton (Teresa) of Webbville, KY; and niece and nephews, Derrick Hamilton, Jeremy Hamilton (Lauren), & Kristi Short (Andy).

Funeral service 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Dave Ison officiating.  Visitation from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the funeral home.
