Nora Fern (Keaton) Gamble

Nora Fern Keaton Gamble of West Liberty, KY, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 at her residence, at the age of 85 years and 11 months.  She was born Sunday, December 15, 1935, at Moon, KY, daughter of the late James R. & Vercie Williams Keaton.

She was united in marriage to Olen Kellie Gamble.  This union was blessed with six children, Rhonda Delayne, Benita, Beverley, Belinda, Bethany, and Hoyt.  She was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and her home.  She was a Christian, and a member of the Glenn Ave. Church of God.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.  She will be missed by all of her family and friends.    

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Olen Kellie Gamble; one daughter, Rhonda Delayne Gamble; two sisters, Kathleen Holbrook and Faye Lyons; and one brother, Dorsey Keaton.

She is survived by four daughters, Benita Gamble, Beverley Gamble, Belinda & Michael Sparks, and Bethany & David Holbrook all of West Liberty, KY; one son, Hoyt & Kimberlee Gamble of Winchester, KY; four grandchildren, Kellie Holbrook, Joshua Holbrook, Logan Gamble, and John Gamble; one brother, Roger & Ina Keaton of West Liberty, KY; one brother-in-law, Lowell Lyons of Sandy Hook, KY; and a host of nieces and nephews.    

Funeral Service, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Williams, Rev. Paul Keeton, and Rev. Jamie Brunk officiating.  Burial to follow in the Elam  Cemetery, Spaws Creek Road, West Liberty, KY.  Visitation 6 p.m., Wednesday at the Potter Funeral Home.
