Mitchell Dean Hamilton

Mitchell Dean Hamilton of West Liberty, KY, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at his granddaughter’s residence, at the age of 73 years, 10 months, & 21 days.  He was born Wednesday, March 8, 1950 at Lenox, KY, son of Glenn Boyd & Ardene Day Hamilton.

He was a retired farmer and truck driver.  He was a loving grandfather and great grandfather and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn Boyd & Ardene Hamilton; his daughter, Stephanie Jo Hamilton Morris; one great grandson, Alexander Dewayne Peyton; and one brother, Michael David Hamilton.

He is survived by three grandchildren, Alexandria Nikole Hamilton, James Mitchell Morris both of Morgan County, KY and Hanna Marie Morris of Butler County, OH; one great grandson, Skyler Brandt McClain; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside service 1 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Henry Logan Day Family Cemetery, Hwy 172, West Liberty, KY, with Bro. James Hinton officiating.  Burial to follow.  Visitation from 11 a.m. – 12 noon, Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Potter Funeral Home.
