Michael Alan Manning

Michael “Mike” Alan Manning of Ezel, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at his residence, at the age of 73 years, 3 months, and 25 days.  He was born Friday, October 24, 1952, at Marion, IN, son of James & Betty Rudd Manning.

Mike was a retired Correctional Officer at the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex. He was a Christian and of the Christian Faith.                 

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Rudd Manning.

Mike is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Freedom & Jan Puetthoff of Mt. Sterling, KY; two grandsons, Trinity Bressler & Jacob Boggs; one great grandson, Ace Bressler; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.

Mike will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services 1 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Harry Flannery officiating.  Burial to follow in the Rudd Cemetery, Grassy Creek, KY.  Visitation from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the funeral home.
