Mattie Conley Grigsby, Monroe, OH, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at the Close To Home Assisted Living, Middletown, OH, at the age of 86 years, 6 months, and 2 days. She was born on Friday, November 21, 1919 at Johnson County, KY, daughter of the late Frank and Virgie DeLong Conley. Mattie was a member of the West Liberty Christian Church and a retired Social Worker. After retiring, she lived in Lexington for fifteen years before moving to Monroe, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Lorene Conley, Pauline Howard and Grace Conley Reed, two brothers, Arnold Conley and Paul Conley. Mattie is survived by her son, Bobby and Anna Lee Nickell Grigsby, Middletown, OH; two grandsons; James Frank & Jill Grigsby, Henry Joe & Kristin Grigsby, one great granddaughter, Miranda Ann Grigsby; two sisters, Roberta Starzman, Wilmore, KY and Delores Rae Reed, Caney, KY and several nieces and nephews.. Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2006, at the Potter Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the DeBorde Cemetery, Malone, KY. Visitation, 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2006, at the Potter Funeral Home
