Mary Phyllis (Hollon) Phipps Ratliff

Mary Phyllis Phipps Ratliff of Hazel Green, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Morgan County ARH, West Liberty, at the age of 66 years, 6 months, and 25 days. She was born Friday, March 26, 1954 at Campton, KY, daughter of the late Ray & Janie Trent Hollon.

Phyllis was united in marriage to Bruce Phipps, after his passing she later married Clayton Ratliff. She was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and her home. She was a loving sister, aunt, and great aunt, and will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bruce Phipps; her second husband, Clayton Ratliff; three brothers, Paul Banks, Darrell Hollon, and Jack Hollon; and two sisters, Linda Phipps and Faye Stevenson.

Phyllis is survived by three sisters, Juanita Ratliff of Hazel Green, KY, Elizabeth Gilbert of Campton, KY, and Lillie Mae Barnes of TN; special nieces & nephews, Sandy & Tony Flinchum, Bradley Ratliff, & Karen & Johnny Watson all of Hazel Green, KY; and special great nieces & nephews, Chelsea Flinchum, Kayla Flinchum, Justina Bauer, Darien Bauer, Adam Watson, Joanne Watson; and several other nieces & nephews.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Rev. Raymond VanCleave officiating. Burial to follow in the Murphy Fork Cemetery, Murphy Fork Road, Hazel Green, KY. Visitation 6 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Potter Funeral Home.

COVID-19 regulations will be followed.
