Mary Elizabeth Martin

Mary E. Martin, age 85, passed away on January 9, 2024. She was born in South Plymouth, NY on September 16, 1938. Mary was a prolific reader who spent most of her free-time tending to her beloved chickens. She would always laugh and say she had more eggs than she knew what to do with. Retiring after over 38 years working in food service with Aultman Hospital, Mary devoted most of attention to her family. She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Lyons; mother, Edith Parker; and siblings, John Parker, Janet Finley, and Cathy Whitmyer.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Joe Martin, Susan Martin of West Liberty, KY, Deborah (Rick) Martin of Wrightstown, NJ, Brenda (Tony) Morgan of West Liberty, KY; nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren; siblings, Dorthy (Peter) Zbuka, and William (Karen) Parker; and sister-in-law, Betty Parker.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 10AM to 11AM at Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel, 801 Pittsburg Ave NW, North Canton, OH. Service will follow at 11AM. She will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery.
