Marla Christine Reed

Marla Christine Reed, age 62, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on February 7, 2024, at Manahan in Toledo, Ohio. She was born January 11, 1962, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late James and Joan (Lacey) Reed.

At Manahan, Marla was in charge of the Halloween committee, making everything festive and even dressing up in costumes. She loved family gatherings, taking trips to Cracker Barrell, watching her favorite TV shows, her collection of dolls, and getting married and having a different husband each week. Marla was good hearted, caring, and very funny! She will be deeply missed by those who were lucky enough to know her.

The family would like to thank Manahan for their love and care they provided to Marla through the years. They greatly appreciate everything you have done to make Marla as comfortable and happy!

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving brother, Mark (Susan) Reed; nieces, Angela and Candice; nephew, Mark; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
 

Marla was preceded in death by her parents and many other loved ones.

Family and friends may gather at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 3:00 pm until the time of her funeral service at 7:00 pm.  

Graveside Service will be held 10 a.m., February 19, 2024 at the Cottle Cemetery, West Liberty, Kentucky, with Rev. Jamie Brunk officiating.  Potter Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
