Marjorie Foster of West Liberty, KY, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Morgan County ARH, West Liberty, KY, at the age of 88 years, 2 months, 3 days. She was born Thursday, December 14, 1933, in Hazard, KY, daughter of the late Virgil Moore, Sr. & Eunice Fraley Moore.
Throughout her life, Marjorie worked as a waitress at Don’s Restaurant, Jones’ Restaurant, and the Freezer Fresh. She also worked at the former bus station and at the drive-in at West Liberty years ago. Later in her life, she was a caregiver for the elderly for several years. She was a Christian and a member of the West Liberty Church of God. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and sister. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Nellie Long; and one brother, Raymond Moore.
Marjorie is survived by two daughters, Connie Foster of West Liberty, KY and Susan Dane (Rick) of Scottsdale, AZ; four grandchildren, Chris Keeton (Susan), Shawna Clemons (Jackie) all of Mount Sterling, KY, Megan O’Connor (Wade) and Alana Foster all of West Liberty, KY; six great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; one brother, Virgil Moore, Jr. (Jackie) of AL; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service 1 p.m., Monday, February 21, 2022 at Potter Funeral Home, with Rev. Raymond Vancleave officiating. Burial to follow in the South Fork Cemetery, Malone, KY. Visitation from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Monday, February 21, 2022 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers: Wade O’Connor, Jonathan Moore, Jackie Clemons, Justin Clemons, Jordan Townsend, Daniel Diedrich, and Chris Keeton.
