Marion Rose (Turner) Reed

Marion Rose Reed of Hazel Green, KY, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, at her residence, at the age of 81 years, 6 months, & 27 days.  She was born Sunday, March 5, 1944, at Chicago, IL, daughter of Harry G. & Elsie C. Cervany Turner.

Marion was united in marriage to James D. Reed, Sr.  This union was blessed with four children, Rhonda, James Jr., Tracey, and Kelly.  She was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family.            

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Elsie Turner; her husband, James D. Reed, Sr.; one grandson, Andrew Banaski; and three sisters, Rosemary Zajac, Sylvia Ergle, and Dorothy Turner.

She is survived by four children, Rhonda Holloway (Robin), James Reed, Jr. (Dorothy Johnson), Tracey Banaski (Edward), and Kelly Jahn (Dave Proulx); fourteen grandchildren, Ryan, Dena, Caitlyn, James, Joshua, Shane, Myranda, Myrissa, Marion, Alex, Dale, Dawson, Dyllon, and Kaylee; sixteen great grandchildren; one brother, Harry Turner; two sisters, Beatrice Kraft and Patricia Stahlberg; two brothers-in-law, Tito Lopez & Richard Watson; two sisters-in-law, Marsha Patrick & Shirley Reed; special nephew, Paul Reed; and several other nieces and nephews.

Marion will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside memorial service 11 a.m., Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Caney Cemetery, Caney, KY, with Bro. Mike Lindon officiating.
