Luther Dale Carpenter

Luther Dale Carpenter of White Oak, KY, passed away, Saturday, December 31, 2022 at his residence, at the age of 53 years, 1 month, and 6 days.  He was born Tuesday, November 25, 1969, in Morehead, KY, son of the late Luther & Dulcene Dysart Carpenter.

Dale was united in marriage to Susie Collins, to this union was blessed two sons, Dalton Ray and Dylan Clay.  Dale was a fiber optic technician for Spectrum.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, son-in-law, and brother-in-law and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

In addition to his parents, Luther & Dulcene Carpenter, he was preceded in death by one sister, Alma White.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susie Carpenter; his two sons, Dalton Ray Carpenter of Means, KY and Dylan Clay Carpenter of White Oak, KY; one brother, Freddie Carpenter (Connie) of White Oak, KY; three sisters, Junnie Carpenter (Rigo Campos) of White Oak, KY, Carolyn May (Dean) of Mt. Sterling, KY, and Dorothy Hamilton (Patrick) of Hampstead, NC; several nieces and nephews & great nieces and nephews; his father-in-law &  mother-in-law, Henry & Linda Collins, of West Liberty, KY; sister-in-law, Lucinda Collins (Missy) of Danville, KY. 

Funeral Service 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at the Potter Funeral Home with Rev. John Blackburn officiating.  Burial to follow in the Carpenter Family Cemetery, Hwy 1162, West Liberty, KY.  Visitation 6 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers:  Dalton Ray Carpenter, Dylan Clay Carpenter, Dean May, Ervin Craft, Rick Kelly, and Jeff Collins.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Henry Collins and Freddie Carpenter.
