Lulie Mae Collier of West Liberty, KY, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital, Danville, KY, at the age of 91 years and 29 days. She was born Thursday, September 29, 1932, daughter of the late Joe & Ida Keaton Gamble.
She was united in marriage to Don Collier. She was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and home. She was a Christian and member of the Smith Creek Valley Church. She loved her family and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Joe & Ida Gamble, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Collier; two brothers and six sisters, Victoria Elizabeth Ferguson Vanover, India Sue Dulin, William “Bud” Gamble, Nora Skaggs, Albert Gamble, Wandalene Cantrell, Gladys Holbrook, & Jane Eldridge.
She is survived by three children, Mary Jane Keeton (Dillard) of West Liberty, KY, Alene Howard (Don) of Valdosta, GA, and Wilda Baldwin of Paintsville, KY; two grandchildren, Mary Katherine Clayton (Michael) & Sarah Simmons; three great grandchildren, Jayden Wiley, Casper Clayton, & Toren Clayton; two step grandchildren, Donna Howard & Jamie Howard; and three step great grandchildren.
Graveside service 1 p.m., Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, KY, with Bro. Spike Skaggs officiating. Potter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers: Travis Cantrell, Patsy Cantrell, Michael Tyler Clayton, Jamie Howard, Ron Fairchild, and Dillard Keeton.
