Loretta DeHaven Obituary

Loretta DeHaven of West Liberty, KY, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center, Morehead, KY, at the age of 79 years, 10 months, and 8 days. She was born Monday, July 21, 1941, in Blue Diamond, KY, daughter of the late Freelin & Tressie Collingsworth Keeton.

Loretta was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and her home. She was a devoted Christian for over 56 years and attended the Mt. Hope Church of God. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She always had a smile and loved to laugh. She always shared her faith with all she came in contact with. Not only did she raise her four children, she also took care of her three grandsons and a great nephew. She will be missed by all of her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers, Gertrude DeHaven, Ray Keeton, Harold Keeton, and Donald Keeton; one infant brother and infant sister, Larry Joe Keeton & Shelby Jean Keeton; and one special sister-in-law, Mary Keeton.

She is survived by four children, Sandra DeHaven of Dayton, OH, Richard DeHaven of West Liberty, KY, Phillip DeHaven of West Liberty, KY, and Pamela J. DeHaven of Owingsville, KY; three grandsons, Jeremy DeHaven of Dayton, OH, Blake DeHaven & Kaytlyn of Frankfort, KY, and Ryan DeHaven of Mt. Sterling, KY; one great granddaughter, Alexa DeHaven of Dayton, OH; one great grandson, Ryker DeHaven of Frankfort, KY; special great nephew, Josh DeHaven of Morehead, KY; a special niece, Tedi Erickson; and two special nephews, Eric Keeton and Brandon Keeton.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Burnel McKinney and Bro. Phillip Lawson officiating. Burial to follow in the Bishop Cemetery, Dehart, KY. Visitation 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Jeremy DeHaven, Ryan DeHaven, Josh DeHaven, Richard DeHaven, Dean Osborne, and Dustin Osborne.
