Lora Beatrice Taulbee Lindon of West Liberty, KY, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 at her residence, at the age of 90 years, 9 months, and 1 day. She was born Thursday, September 4, 1930, in Perry County, at Hardburly, KY, daughter of the late Russell Breckenridge Taulbee and Cora Stidham Taulbee.
Beatrice was united in marriage to William Kantril Lindon. This union was blessed with one daughter & three sons, Billie Jane, Harry Dean, Jerry Kantril, and Russell Richard.
Bea worked as a cook at the former Towne & Country Bowling Lanes, she was a custodian at Bank of the Mountains and worked several years at the Lycoming Shoe Factory. She retired as a custodian for Morgan County Middle School & Morgan County High School where she worked over 12 years. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at a very early age and attended the West Liberty United Methodist Church.
She was a loving mother to everyone she was around. No one went hungry around Mamaw Bea. Her faith in Jesus Christ was well known and shared with everyone. She will be missed by all of her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Kantril Lindon; her son-in-law, David Adkins; and four brothers and four sisters, Straughter Taulbee, William Taulbee, Ernest Taulbee, Etta Bellamy, Edith Alderson, Helen Taulbee, Leander Claire, and Gertrude Edwards.
She is survived by her four children, Billie Jane Lindon Adkins, Harry Dean Lindon & Donna, Jerry Kantril Lindon & Leslie, and Russell Richard Lindon & Cheryl; nine grandchildren, Kimberly Ross & Kris, Kathy Mattingly & Matt, Andrea Conaster & Jeff, Jeremy Lindon, Jarrett Lindon & Jenny, Chad Lindon & Sandy, William Lindon & Michelle, Newell Lindon & Amy, and Elizabeth Potter & Tommy; twenty four great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Rev. Jamie Brunk & Bro. Chad Lindon officiating. Burial to follow at the West Liberty Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Kris Ross, Matt Mattingly, Jeff Conaster, Jeremy Lindon, Jarrett Lindon, Chad Lindon, William Lindon, Newell Lindon, and Tommy Potter.
