Lexie Faye (Brooks) Hall Turner

Lexie Faye Brooks Hall Turner of Columbus, OH, passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH, at the age of 91 years, 9 months, and 12 days. She was born Monday, December 31, 1928 at Lacy Creek, KY, daughter of the late James Henry & Ida Patrick Brooks.

She was united in marriage to Arnold Hall.  This union was blessed with two children, Barbara & Denver Jimmy.  After the passing of her first husband, she later married Monroe Turner. Faye was a retired Child Care Worker. She loved her family, and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Arnold Hall and Monroe Turner; and brothers & sisters, Nora Cottle, Tommy Brooks, Bernice Fugate, and Lonnie “Tiny” Brooks.

Faye is survived by her two children, Barbara & Dennis Miller of Columbus, OH and Denver Jimmy Hall; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three brothers, Leander “Bear” Brooks, James & Phyllis Brooks, and Ben & Delease Brooks; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service 2 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the Brooks Cemetery, West Liberty, KY, with burial to follow. Visitation from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the Potter Funeral Home.
