Larry Edward Havens

Larry Edward Havens of West Liberty, KY, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Centerpoint Health, Winchester, KY, at the age of 71 years, 1 month, and 24 days.  He was born Tuesday, May 3, 1955, at West Liberty, KY, son of John Frank “Junior” Havens, Jr. & Everene McGuire Havens.

Larry was a farmer before becoming disabled.   He was a Christian and was saved while he was in the hospital. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior & Everene Havens; four brothers & two sisters, Richard Havens, Danny Havens, Peggy Ratliff, Debbie Smith, Timothy Havens, & Michael Brent Havens; and one brother-in-law, David Rice.

Larry is survived by five sons, Matthew Collins of Cannel City, KY, Steven Collins of McKee, KY, Derrick (Angela) Havens, Michael Havens, and Logan Havens all of Stacy Fork, KY; seven grandchildren, Kayleigh, Chevella, Ethan, Mayson, Hayden, Kaden, and Lindsay; four sisters & two brothers, Marie (Gary) Dillavou, Kathy Rice, Betty (Hank) Peyton, Johnny Havens, Kimberly (Willie) Gillespie, and Mark (Tabitha) Havens; and a host of nieces & nephews.

Larry will be missed by all his family and friends.

Graveside service 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at the Oliver Haney Cemetery, Stacy Fork, KY, with Bro. Harry Frisby officiating.  Burial to follow.  Potter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
