Keria Leighann Helton

Keria Leighann Helton of West Liberty, KY, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Norton Children’s Hospital, Louisville, KY, at the age of 1 year, 8 months, and 21 days.  She was born Monday, October 19, 2020, at Louisville, KY, daughter of James Casey & Kayla Nicole Ratliff Helton.

Keria was a happy ray of sunshine, she loved her bubby and sissy, her “pap pap”, her uncle Paul & aunt “Missa”, uncle Jake and aunt “Suggie”, and all of her family.  She also loved horses, purses, shoes, and the sound of sirens from first responder vehicles that she would call “we woos”.  She loved food in general, especially french fries and ice cream.  She loved everyone and would tell you “I luh ye”.  Keria was deeply loved by her mommy, daddy, and all of her family and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Rusty Hutchinson; great grandmother, Cappie Rogers; paternal grandfather, Wally Martin; and paternal great grandparents, James & Minnie Meadows.

Keria is survived by her daddy & mommy, Casey & Kayla Helton; her bubby & sissy, Christian and Kinley; maternal great grandmother, Patty Hutchinson of West Liberty, KY; maternal grandmother, Missy Hutchinson of West Liberty, KY; maternal grandfather, Gary & Fran Ratliff of Mize, KY; paternal grandmother, Teresa Martin of Mt. Sterling, KY; paternal grandfather, Billy & Angie Helton of Stanton, KY; special great great aunt and uncle, Don & Janie Robbins of West Liberty, KY; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and her first responder family of Morgan County.

Funeral service 1 p.m., Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Tommy Peak & Bro. Eric Conley officiating.  Burial to follow in the West Liberty Memorial Gardens.  Visitation 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers:  Gary Ratliff, Paul Hutchinson, Jacob Ratliff, Cody Hutchinson, and Christian Mullins.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Morgan County First Responder Family and Liam Ratliff.
