Judy Mae Roark Oney of Hazel Green, KY, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, KY, at the age of 55 years, 6 months, and 6 days. She was born Friday, July 23, 1965 at Cow Creek, KY, daughter of Lee & Rissie Risner Roark.
She was united in marriage to William C. Oney, II. This union was blessed with two sons, William C., III & Jason Lee. Judy was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and her home. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, and will be missed by all of her family and friends.
Judy is survived by her husband, William C. Oney, II; two sons, William C. Oney, III & Ashley and Jason Lee Oney & Jacqueline all of Hazel Green, KY; four grandchildren, Haley Oney, Jaylin Oney, Jennah Oney, and Jordyn Oney; her parents, Lee & Rissie Roark of Hazel Green, KY; seven sisters, Betty Helton & Jerry, Linda Back & Gary all of Salyersville, KY, Audrey Risner & Mark of Wheelrim, KY, Peggy Minix & Russell of Salyersville, KY, Sue Alsept & Ernie of Hazel Green, KY, Diane Roark of Salyersville, KY, and Leann Fugate of Grassy Creek, KY; and one brother, Roy Lee Roark of Hazel Green, KY.
Funeral service 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Mark Risner & Bro. Rick Simpkins officiating. Burial to follow in the Bailey Cemetery, Hwy 134, Hazel Green, KY. Visitation 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers: Ernie Alsept, Russell Minix, Tyler Minix, John Fugate, Jordan Fugate, Charlie Purcell, Mark Risner, and Michael Brown.
