Jay Richard Caskey

Jay Richard Caskey of West Liberty, KY, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at his residence, at the age of 73 years, 9 months, & 25 days.  He was born Tuesday, June 5, 1951, in West Liberty, KY, son of William Prichard & Oshie Wingo Caskey.

Jay Richard was a former lineman for Mountain Telephone and also worked at Wingo Construction and Hutchinson Furniture Store.  He was a Christian and member of the West Liberty Methodist Church.  He will be remembered as a loving brother and cousin, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Prichard & Oshie Caskey and one infant brother, Billy Grover Caskey.

Jay Richard is survived by one sister, Joy Sue Caskey Hawkins of West Liberty, KY and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral service, 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Potter Funeral Home, with Rev. Jamie Brunk officiating.  Burial to follow in the Salyer Cemetery, West Liberty, KY.  Visitation 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Potter Funeral Home.
