Jason Michael Salyer, of West Liberty, KY, passed away Thursday, Aug. 05, 2021 at his residence, at the age of 41 years, 10 months, and 20 days.  He was born Sunday, September 16, 1979 at Louisa KY, son of Sallie Vanover Watts and the late Richard Salyer.

Jason was united in marriage to Amanda Griffith.  This union was blessed with four children.  He was a construction worker for Fiber Optic Cable Company.  He was a christian and a member of Bertha Church. Jason was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle, and will be missed by all of his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Salyer and step father Roger Salyer

He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Salyer, West Liberty, KY; his mother, Sallie and Elmer Watts, Crockett, KY; four children, Destany and Trevor Tarring, Dakota Salyer, Desiree Salyer and Gabrielle Salyer all of West Liberty, KY; three grandchildren, Kinzley, Willow, and Oakland; three sisters, Michelle and Steve Wright, West Liberty, KY, Jessica and Michael Stephens, Grayson, KY, Amanda and Brian Blanton, West Liberty, KY; Several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Bertha Church, with Bro. James Gerald Wright officiating.  Burial will follow in th Jason Salyer Memorial Cemetery, Crockett, KY.  Visitation 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Church.
