Janey Ruth (Kemplin) Wheeler

Janey Ruth Kemplin Wheeler of West Liberty, KY, passed away, Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at her residence, at the age of 74 years, 4 months, and 21 days.  She was born Saturday, August 14, 1948, in Woodsbend, KY, daughter of the late Olive “Shorty” & Nancy Gibson Kemplin.

Janey was united in marriage to William “Billy” L. Wheeler, to this union was blessed with four daughters, Leslie, Mindy, Brittany, and Savannah.  Janey was a former bookkeeper for Wheeler Trucking.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

In addition to her parents, Olive “Shorty” & Nancy Kemplin, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” L. Wheeler; one brother, Paul Kemplin; and one sister, Leatha Neely.

Janey is survived by her four daughters, Leslie & Todd Rademachir of Hazel Green, KY, Mindy & Dwayne Shaver, Brittany Wheeler all of West Liberty, KY, and Savannah & Daniel Fallen of Grassy Creek, KY; six grandchildren, Calista, Haley, Garrette, Ashley, Chloe, and Senora; three brothers and two sisters, David & Cathy Kemplin, Walter Kemplin, Wanda & Kenneth Knox, Kenneth & Anita Kemplin all of West Liberty, KY and Naomi Parks of Hazel Green, KY; a special niece, Ginna Evans; and several other nieces and nephews & great nieces and nephews. 

Private Services will be held with Bro. Ray Fallen officiating.  Burial in the Coffey - Sheets Cemetery, Hwy 705, West Liberty, KY.
