Janet Sue (Wireman) Crase

Janet Sue Crase of West Liberty, KY, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025, at her residence, at the age of 78 years, 3 months, & 23 days.  She was born Saturday, April 12, 1947, at Harper, KY, daughter of Bradley & Mary Howard Wireman.

She was a retired custodian for West Liberty Elementary School.         

Janet Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Bradley & Mary Wireman; one daughter, Pamela Raye Crase; daughter-in-law, Jeannie Crase; and three sisters & three brothers, Delphia Miller, Betty Davis, Jimmy Wireman, Gladys Dehart, and (infant twins) J.C. & Barnes Wireman.

She is survived by her special partner of 33 years, Gary Lykins; three children, Ricky Crase (Tamara) of Hazel Green, KY, Randy Crase of Ottawa, KS, and Mary Ann Riddle (Phillip) of Morehead, KY; six grandchildren, McKenna Riddle, Braden Riddle, Jonathan Crase, Ruthie Crase, Amanda Briones, and Ryan Claxon; one great grandchild, Owen Briones; one brother, Toney Wireman (Donna); and special sister-in-law, Brenda Wireman.

Janet Sue will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral service 1 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2025 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Steven Harn officiating.  Burial to follow in the Allen Cemetery, Hwy 1081, Salyersville, KY.  Visitation 6 p.m., Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers:  Ricky Crase, Randy Crase, Jonathan Crase, Ruthie Crase, Doug Davis, Eli Haney, and Chas Joslin.
