Jamie Ray Wright

Jamie Ray Wright of West Liberty, KY, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022 at his residence, at the age of 53 years, 11 months, and 27 days. He was born Saturday, July 13, 1968, at West Liberty, KY, son of Norman Lee Wright and the late Annia Belle Smith Wright.

Jamie was united in marriage to Timothy Price. He was a farmer and enjoyed being out on the farm. Jamie loved his family and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, Annia Belle Smith Wright, he was preceded in death by one son, Chad Warren Wright; special mother-in-law, Wandalene Price; father-in-law, Drexel Price; nephew, Brent Scott Cantrell; and two brothers-in-law, Danny “Woody” Cantrell and Darrell Robbins.

Jamie is survived by his husband, Timothy Price; his daughter, Courtney Blanton (Benny Ray) of West Liberty, KY; two granddaughters, Kinsley Rae Blanton and Khloe Danielle Blanton; his father, Norman Lee Wright of West Liberty, KY; three brothers, Gary Wright (Tina) of Hazel Green, KY, Larry Wright (Melissa) of Salyersville, KY, and Patrick Wright (Sonya) of West Liberty, KY; six sisters, Teresa Cantrell (Gary Cantrell) of Morehead, KY, Sherry Robbins of West Liberty, KY, Elizabeth Keeton (Alonzo) of West Liberty, KY, Melissa Stevens (Eric) Elkfork, KY, Laura Wright (Charles Bell) of Morehead, KY, and Ashley Banks (Ricky) of West Liberty, KY; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Pendleton Church, Hwy 437, West Liberty, KY. Potter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
