Glenn Wright of Hazel Green, KY, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 at his residence, at the age of 84 years, 8 months, and 26 days. He was born Monday, August 12, 1935 at Lower Sand Lick, KY, son of the late Leonard & Elsie Faye Cantrell Wright.
Glenn was a Christian and a member of the Old Paint Primitive Baptist Church. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Jerry, Paris, Fred, and Monroe Wright; one sister, Martha Wright.
He is survived by one daughter & son-in-law, Denise & Harold Dunn of Cannel City, KY; three grandchildren, Robert Dale, Little Denise, and Jerry Glenn Dunn; one brother, Garland & Linda Nell Wright of Fairborn, OH; one sister, Glidy Roseberry of Paris, KY; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and great-great nieces & nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 requirements set forth by Governor Andy Beshear, a private graveside service for the immediate family, will be held Monday, May 11, 2020 at the Paint Valley Memorial Gardens, Crockett, KY.
Pallbearers: Dean Roseberry, Dorsey Cantrell, Scottie Cantrell, Dale Cantrell, Cassie Cantrell, and Ronnie Roseberry.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested by the family to Potter Funeral Home, Inc., to help with burial expenses.
