Glenn Lee Gevedon of Grassy Creek, KY, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 at the West Liberty Nursing & Rehab Center, at the age of 82 years, 2 months, and 10 days. He was born Sunday, March 13, 1938 at Grassy Creek, KY, son of the late Henry Delbert & Ida Pearl Byrd Gevedon.
Glenn was united in marriage to Edith Lenora Perry. This union was blessed with three daughters, Jeanna Marlene, Sheri, and Lee Ann. He was retired from the Kentucky State Department of Weights & Measures as an Inspector. He was a Christian and was a member of the West Liberty Christian Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, and will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Ida Pearl Gevedon.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lenora Gevedon; three daughters, Jeanna Marlene Hance of Grassy Creek, KY, Sheri Gevedon, and Lee Ann & Stephen McKenzie all of West Liberty, KY; six grandchildren, Nicole & Justin Daniels of West Liberty, KY, Partick Brian McKenzie, Zachary Hance, Emily & Mikie Fyffe, Jared Hance, and Stephen Connor McKenzie all of Lexington, KY; two great grandchildren, Bruce Daniels and Trey Fyffe; and two sisters, Clara Jackson of West Liberty, KY, and Brenda Jones of Grassy Creek, KY.
Memorial service 1 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Rev. Hunter Fraley officiating. Visitation at 12 noon Thursday at the funeral home.
