Eva Louise (Adkins) Howell

Eva Louise Howell of Elkfork, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center, Morehead, KY, at the age of 80 years, 4 months, and 5 days. She was born Tuesday, November 11, 1941, in West Liberty, KY, daughter of the late Lenville & Beulah Caskey Adkins.

She was united in marriage to Rondall B. Howell. This union was blessed with four children. She was a retired cook for the Morgan Inn Restaurant for many years and a cook at the Baby’s Day Inn for over 14 years. She was “mamaw” to all the babies and loved them all. She was a Christian and a member of the Straight Creek Enterprise Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, loving mother, loving grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Lenville & Beulah Adkins, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Adkins and Ruby Burke.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Rondall B. Howell; four children, Terry Hutchinson (Wayne) and Jackie Howell (Nalma) all of Elkfork, KY, Jarvis Howell (Rose) and Angie Price (Ronnie) all of West Liberty, KY; nine grandchildren, Amy Litteral (Ashley) of Paintsville, KY, Anthony Hutchinson (Kellie) of Elkfork, KY, Aaron Hutchinson (Ashley) of West Liberty, KY, Tyler Howell (Chasity) of Morehead, KY, Brandon Howell (Lindsey) of Hillsboro, KY, Kyle Howell (Kyra) of West Liberty, KY, Cody Howell (Sarah) of Winchester, KY, Alyssa Osborne (Devon) of West Liberty, KY, and Jenna Price of Louisville, KY; eleven great grandchildren, Raegan Litteral, Braydon Hutchinson, Sarah Beth Hutchinson, Tanner Hutchinson, Mylah Hutchinson, Audrey Hutchinson, Amelia Hutchinson, Alayna Howell, Greyson Howell, Raina Howell, and Braxton Howell; and one brother, Michael Adkins (Sue) of Ezel, KY.

Funeral Service 1 p.m., Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Jeff Adkins & David Elliott officiating. Burial to follow in the Howell Cemetery, Elkfork, KY. Visitation 12 p.m. - 1 p.m., Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the funeral home.
