Drexel Price of West Liberty, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at his residence, at the age of 83 years, 2 months, 29 days. He was born Thursday, November 10, 1938, at Lacy Creek, KY, son of the late Rutherford B. & Lennie Smith Price.

Drexel was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Wandalene Wright Price; one son, Richard Price; one grandson, Chad Warren Wright; six brothers & three sisters, Kelly Price (Alma), Terry Keith Price (Dolly), Darrell Price, Marion Lee Price (Beatrice), Crate Price (Maxine), Winfred Price, Mary Lou Cantrell (Sam), Eloise Murphy, and Jean Routson; and sister-in-law, Cathy Price.

Drexel is survived by his companion of 35 years, Norma Howard; his nine children, Danny Price (Phyllis), Eric Price (Angie), Timothy Price (Jamie), Ronnie Price (Angie), Michael Price (Lana), Carolyn Fultz (Bobby), Beverly Gilliam (Paul), Patricia Price, and Brenda Blevins (Richie); two step children, Lyndon Howard (Sharon) of Georgetown, KY and Denise Ison of Grayson, KY; fourteen grandchildren, Jessica Barnhart, Bobbie Jo Wright, Jennifer Rice, Jeffrey Adams, Shawn Price, Matthew Price, Courtney Blanton, Emily Elliott, Alyssa Osborne, Jenna Price, Madison Stamper, Jarrett Price, Kacey McGuire, and Josh Blevins; one step granddaughter, Kelsey Couch (Brad); seventeen great grandchildren, John Michael Barnhart, Kyle Barnhart, Jacob Bolin, Gracie Bolin, Dakota Rice, Phillip Rice, Kaylee Rice, Alexis Adams, Ryleigh Adams, Colton Price, Lucas Price, Madison Maxie, Carson Price, Kinsley Blanton, Khloe Blanton, Rhett McGuire, and Reonia Young; one step great granddaughter, Bailee Couch; & three great-great grandchildren, Jaxon Barnhart, Alley Perry & Aubrey Perry; two sisters & one brother, Elsie Faye Hecht of Wapakoneta, OH, Minnie Sue Moore (Wilbur) of West Liberty, KY, and George Price (Brenda) of Grayson, KY.

Funeral Service 1 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Potter Funeral Home, with Rev. James Wallen & Bro. David Ison officiating. Burial to follow in the Fultz Price Cemetery, Crockett, KY. Visitation 6 - 9 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2022 at the funeral home.
