Douglas Holliday

Douglas Holliday of West Liberty, KY, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the Lee County Care & Rehab, Beattyville, KY, at the age of 79 years, 8 months, and 17 days. He was born Tuesday, January 11, 1944, son of the late Charlie & Marilyn Gullett Holliday.

He was a retired painter, was a Christian and was baptized at the White Oak Christian Church.  He will be remembered as a loving brother, uncle, great uncle, and great-great uncle and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie & Marilyn Gullett Holliday. 

He is survived by his sister, Linda Boyd (Tab Hunter) of West Liberty, KY; one nephew, Stephen Boyd (Virginia) of Winchester, KY; three great nieces, Mariah Brison, Jenna Kay Watkins, and Kandace Boyd; one great-great niece, Ellie Rose; and a special cousin, Darrell & Shirley Holliday.

Graveside service 2 p.m., Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the Holliday Cemetery, Caney, KY with burial to follow.
