Donny "Don" Lee Goolsby

Don Goolsby of West Liberty, KY, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at his residence, at the age of 74 years, 1 month, & 18 days.  He was born Tuesday, October 24, 1950 in Tampa, FL, son of John & Margie Pridgen Goolsby.

Don was united in marriage to Lynn Revels.  This union was blessed with two children, Dustin & Deedra.  He was a retired business owner.  Don was a Christian and was a faithful member of the West Liberty Church of Christ.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Margie Goolsby.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Goolsby; one son, Dustin & Lindsey Goolsby of Berea, KY; one daughter, Deedra & James Weintz of Lake Alfred, FL; two grandchildren, Carson Weintz & Emma Weintz; and one brother, John & Billie Ann Goolsby of Plant City, FL.

Funeral service, 1 p.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Potter Funeral Home, with Elder Eric Conley & Bro. Mark Willis officiating.  Burial to follow in the Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY.  Visitation from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Tuesday December 17, 2024 at Potter Funeral Home.
