Diana Michelle (Nickell) Rose

Diana Michelle Nickell Rose of Ezel, KY, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at her residence, at the age of 43 years, 9 months, and 5 days. She was born Monday, May 2, 1977 at Morehead, KY, daughter of Claudell & Pam Birchfield Nickell.

Diana was a Registered Nurse and had taught nursing at Morehead State University and was also a Nurse Practitioner. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, and will be missed by all of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Arnold Nickell; maternal grandparents, Orville & Edith Birchfield; and one uncle, Robert “Bob” Birchfield.

Diana is survived by her husband, Larry Rose; her son, Andrew Patrick; step daughter, Haley Rose of Lawrenceburg, KY; grandson, Sawyer Riley; her parents, Claudell & Pam Nickell of Ezel, KY; two sisters, Melissa Hoskins & Dustin of Columbus, OH and Rebecca Greenidge & David of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; her paternal grandmother, Lillian Nickell of West Liberty, KY; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral service 7 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Rev. Rodney Coffey officiating. Visitation from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the funeral home.
