Diana Gail Peyton Montgomery of Franklin, OH, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at her residence, at the age of 73 years, 5 months, and 25 days. She was born Saturday, September 6, 1947 at Ezel, KY, daughter of the late Ova & Margrete (Peyton) Peyton.
Diana was united in marriage to James “Jim” Montgomery. This union was blessed with two children, Beverly & Brent. She was a retired assembly worker for Aeronica. She was a Christian and a member of the Crosspoint Church of Christ in Middletown, OH. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister; she will be missed by all of her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Montgomery; and three brothers & two sisters, Gay Nell Cox, Delbert Peyton, Robert Peyton, Alberta Peyton, and William “Bill” Peyton.
Diana is survived by her two children, Beverly Haynes & husband, Scott of Dayton, OH and Brent Montgomery & wife, Steph of Ligonier, IN; two grandchildren, Brooke & Kelsey; two great grandchildren, Emma Roe & Rowan Grace; and one brother & two sisters, Merle Peyton & wife, Judy, Anna Adkins, and Marita Cade all of West Liberty, KY.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Johnson officiating. Burial to follow in the Peyton Cemetery, Kellacey, KY. Visitation from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Christopher Peyton, Marty Adkins, Robert Stamper, Ricky Lindon, Whitney Perry, Justin Perry, and Scott Haynes.
