Denise Lou (Litton) Moore

Denise Lou Litton Moore of Clearfield, KY, formerly of West Liberty, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the West Liberty Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Liberty, KY, at the age of 68 years, 9 months, & 26 days.  She was born Saturday, October 22, 1955 at Lexington, KY, daughter of William “Bill” Edward & Nina Vanessa Minix Litton.

She was united in marriage to Sidney Moore.  She was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and her home and was a Christian and member of the White Oak Christian Church.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, step mother, grandmother, sister, niece, aunt & great aunt, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill & Vanessa Litton.

She is survived by her husband, Sidney Moore; two children, James William Phipps (Lydia) and Regina Ann Vance all of West Liberty, KY; step son, Kyle Moore of Clearfield, KY; three grandchildren, Jenna, Bryce, & Easton; one sister, Randa Patrick (Marvin) of West Liberty, KY; one aunt, Nadine Minix of White Oak, KY; one nephew, Bentley Patrick; one niece, Brooke Jenkins (Casey); and great nieces, Thea Jenkins & Amelia Jenkins.

Memorial service 1 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the White Oak Christian Church, with Bro. Greg Helton & Bro. C.J. Tackett officiating.  Burial at G.B. Allen Cemetery, White Oak, KY.  Visitation from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the White Oak Christian Church.
