June 26, 1955 ~ September 20, 2022 (age 67)


Delma May Collins Whitt of West Liberty, KY, passed away, Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Morgan County ARH, West Liberty, at the age of 67 years, 2 months, and 25 days.  She was born Sunday, June 26, 1955, at West Liberty, KY, daughter of the late Clayton F. & Monnie Dehart Collins.

Delma was united in marriage to Dana Whitt on October 8, 1971.  She was Accounts Manager for the Commercial Bank in West Liberty, where she was employed at for over 50 years.  She took pride in her work and loved her job and her bank family.  She was a Christian and attended Index Community Church before her illness.  She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton & Monnie Collins; one sister, Brenda Collins Whitt (Sammy).

Delma is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years, Dana Whitt; two sisters, Donna Elam (George) of West Liberty, KY and Thelma Haney (J.C.) of Stacy Fork, KY; three special nephews and niece whom she was a bonus mom to, Keith Elam (Lisa), Jennifer Williams (Keith), & Brian Whitt (Kristi), and Amy McClendon (Rodney); several great nieces and nephews; special neighbors, Jimmy, Janet, & Gabriel Whitt; other special survivors, Hank Allen, Howard Elam, and the rest of her Commercial Bank Family.
